Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

co-op voteing

as a co-op that has by-laws that reads to pass you must have 75% of the voters and on certian items 66.6%. No where does it mention majority of the votes,in this case can the majority be used.

You did not explain what the situation is. Regardless, it does not seem that a simple majority would ever be proper according to your by-laws. Your cooperative association should question its corporate attorney. If you do not have one, this may be the time to retain one, and to consider an amendment lowering your majority requirements.
