Copy of rental contract

I am a previous tenant of an apartment complex in Florida. I am currently disputing an 'Insufficient Notice' fee that they claim I owe. I do not have a copy of my lease, and I have requested that a copy be mailed to me. If I make this request in writing, does the complex or collection agency have a legal obligation to send me a copy of the signed lease? Thank you.

Yes, the collection agency should send you a copy of the lease which is purportedly the basis for the alleged debt. Seek the advice of counsel and good luck.
