Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

We have a couple who were once married, but now cohabitate. They bought a condo in a gated 55 plus gated community in Palm Beach County, Fl. They were already divorced when it was bought. they live together because of his health and she takes care of him. Now his daughter wants him to move to Tenn and he wants to sell and she dont, she will not be going to Tenn. She loves where she is and will not sell. Both names are on the deed since both of them paid for it. He says he will take her to court and force her to Quik Claim it, she says he cannot force her to do that. He has nearly 3 times her income,(both are retirees) . She pays the maintenance he pays the electric. MY Question is, Can He legally force her to sell?. she is very active in the community he is not. Thank you for taking the time with this matter. J

Very basic answer is that he can force some sort of resolution. Whether that is to sell the place, for her to buy him out, partition, or whatever, that would be up to the court and the desires of the parties.

Unless she is willing to buy him out, he can force a court sale by an action in partition.
