Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Covenant restriction

The covenants of the Property Owners Association in the rv park where I purchased property states that ''No park models other than those purchased from or through the developer are permitted.''

Is this allowed in the state of Florida?

Re: Covenant restriction

Yes. You purchased the lot subject to the restricted covenants of record and must follow the rules established by your association.

If a super-majority of owners in your community wish to change the covenants, they may vote to amend the controlling documents.
