Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My daughter is a college student in Florida she lives in apartment with 3 other roommates. Now one of the roommates is moving out, for hey have a replacement for that Roommate. she lived in that apartment for 15 months. This passed August everyone agreed what each roommate would pay. For the school year. Now four months into the agreement is it legal for them to change the terms of the agreement. Is it legal for them to try to evict her because of the new terms.

The actual lease agreement controls. Without seeing that agreement it is impossible to answer your inquiry. If you are talking about the lease which is signed by the landlord the only way to change that is to have all people including the landlord sign another new one. The remaining tenants can agree amongst themselves on how the current rental will be paid. They don't need to change the underlying lease. They may want to enter into a new document evidencing the new agreement.
