Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
If deed says :held in joint tenency with right of survivorship? Do I NOW own 1/2 of the house, not when he is dead. He is trying to tell me I have no claim on our house. It is mortgage free.

You have an undivided 1/2 interest. However, upon death, the survivor will get the whole thing. You could sue to partition and sale of the property, but it may not be in your best interest.
