Deed - JTWROS

I purchased a home with my best friend and we established the deed as JTWROS. We have since had a falling-out and are no longer friends. I want to change the JTWROS designation on the deed so that my share of the property, should I die, would be part of my estate or bequeathed to someone -- I don't want my ex-friend to get it. How do I get the deed changed? What do I have to do to get it changed?

You should contact an attorney to have the property reconveyed from JTS to TC (tenancy in common).
