How can I deed a timeshare back to the timeshare company and not have any responsablity for it. I'm current on all the maintiantance fees and I own it.

The timeshare documents may permit you to give the timeshare back to the company and pay a reduced amount to buy your way out of the contract.

If you just stop paying the annual fees, then you will default. They will take the timeshare back, but you will still owe the past due fees that accrued during the time you owned it.

The only way to truly get rid of the timeshare is to file bankruptcy and surrender the timeshare as part of the bankruptcy. You would have to speak to an attorney in your area to determine whether you qualify for bankruptcy given your overall situation.
