please define princple sum-v-princle balance

I was granted a judges order,saying that my 2nd mortage was in violation of fla. law remadies, set forth are no intrest shall be paid on the loan the princple balance with closing cost was 25,000$ that also included a 2500$ referral fee. which cannot be added from my understanding on a privite loan. the amount that i received was 20300.00.that should mean 4125.00 off 20300 that should be about 16200.00, but the losing attorney is try to get me to pay off of 25000.00.that would include his 2500.00$ fee and their closing cost, on a loan that was illlegal and deemed so in a court of law please help,I HAD NO LAWYER.
