Until they actualy sue you and obtain a judgment, it is merely a lien. It is valid for 1 year.

The lien does not attach to your homestead property..The reply to question one is no. question 2 is technically no but practically maybe yes.

The Claim of Lien can be foreclosed and enforced the same as a mortgage. If the Association is successful, you may lose your condominium which will be sold at a public sale to satisfy the obligation. You would be better served to resolve this before it gets that far.
