Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Depost refund
I signed a lease 31 May, 2009, for a move in date of 13 June, 2009. Lease states that upon execution of lease I will give the sum of $2100 dollars. I gave the money when I signed the lease but what is execution of the lease? I told the landlord I no longer wanted the house and have not taken possession yet. Does he have to let me out and give me my money back?

Re: Depost refund
Execution of the lease is when both parties sign it. He does not have to let you out of the lease.
