Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Determination of Real Interest in a Property Jointly Held
My ex-wife and I jointly own the home I currently reside in.
I have recently remarried and our divorce agreement states that I must buy her out or put the property up for sale. I dispute my ex-wife's real interest in the property as being less that 50%. Reasons can be provided if needed. How can we resolve our dispute without tying things up in a protracted legal dispute? Is there such a thing as binding arbitrion available if both parties agree to it.
Thank you

An agreement to go to binding arbitration can be signed by both parties. This would certainly speed things. Both parties must be represented by separate counsel. Good luck.
