Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Disposition 12/10/02

I am currently paying on a judgement that we agreed to of 150.00 per month. i have made my payments 3months and just today recieved a letter from her attorney about a disposition set for 12/10/02. what is the meaning ofthis? And what are my remedies? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also what about bankruptcy?Thank you; Trish

I think you mean deposition which occurs when an attorney ask questions of a party to a lawsuit. In your case it would be post judgment questions regarding your assets( banks accounts, stocks etc.)

Bankruptcy is an alternative depending upon the amount of your liabilities compared to your assets. Good luck.

My guess is that is to you questions about, and the location of your assets. The aim being to execute on non-exempt property. But you agreement would then be of little moment. The whole thing may be an error. Call the attorney for the creditor to see if they made a mistake.

Bankruptcy may or maynt be for you. A consultation would be necessary to make such a determination.
