Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Divide property

I own 3 acres of land. When I bought this property there was 1 house on it. I built a guest house in the back for my father. Now I would like to divide the property that I end up with 2 acres and my house and my father will own the other house and 1 acre. According to the county I can do this. But what do I need to do on paperwork?

Re: Divide property

I would need more information to assist you(street address, legal description, etc). Then I would need to assist you in legally dividing the two parcels. When you receive this call me at my office or send me an e-mail.

Re: Divide property

Survey the property to determine your property lines and whether they will meet zoning requirements. Your County and/or town will have there other requirements. A new deed will need to be filed. Good luck.
