I have been divorced for 12 years. I received the house and have a quick claim deed. We purchased the home on his (VA Loan). Ex husband say's if I remove him from the mortgage, I will have to refinance the house. Is this true?

I make all the payments and he is claiming it on his taxes. He say's I cant because he is primary on the loan.

He is ripping you off (and the IRS). Talk to an attorney right away.
