Divorce and Real Estate

I divorced wife

Own farm 50/50 which goes up for sale May, 6 Mnth to sell

Her father held morgage Forgave loan 3yrs ago

Ex disputing, father going along, no ''forgiveness' papers

Hasn't been morgage payment for over 3yrs

No valuation of property

Her family fixing up house W/O my agreeing

Was originally for in exchange for relation to stay there

They are charging outrageous amount

Not contractors

Ex says she will find way to take house from me

by dad saying more owed on house work done etc

Loan small, not really morgage I don't think

There's a lot more to this but complicated

What do I do, How do I protect myself, What kind of lawyer do I need, Real Estate, Divorce, etc?

I am surprised the issue was not resoved as part of your divorce proceeding. If you had counsel, that is your starting point. Else a competent real estate attorney who is able in the matrimonail area.
