Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Divorce Settlement

My ex-husband, passed away. Under marital settlement he gets the house, household contents and corvette. Both loans are in both our names. He was to pay the monthly expenses for those.

Regarding the house I get ''33.3% when house is sold'' in which his oldest son is going to do. What do I have to do to ensure that I get this percentage?

We are also under bankruptcy can I get that put under the estate for expenses to be paid or am I going to be responsible for that? Under the settlement agreement, I agreed to pay the monthly paymnts.

Re: Divorce Settlement

You need to personally consult with a lawyer, and based on your questions, I would imagine that at a minimum you now have or at one time had a bankruptcy lawyer and a divorce attorney. Contact them and let them know about all of your concerns so they can assist you with these matters. Good luck.
