Dog

I have a labrador retreiver that I

have all the papers in my name for

and I asked an ex to watch the dog

while I was out of town due to

military training. I have tried to

make contact with this person and

after I did they refuse to give me my

dog back stating that it was a gift...

who is right?? and how do I get my

dog back?

You can take your ex to court, but you'll have to prove that the dog was on loan, not a gift. That's a very tough thing to prove when things aren't in writing.
