dual ownership of condo
When I bought my condo, I added my child's name thinking it would be an easy transmission in case of my demise. Now this child has ceased to communicate with me and I wonder how I can change the title to myself exclusively

What you are experiencing is one of the pitfalls of trying to avoid probate. It will not be easy to transfer the title back if your child will not cooperate.
If the child will cooperate, have a Quit Claim Deed executed by you and the child in favor of you. Failing such, you will have to file a suit to quiet title and prove to the court that you are the true owner of the property. This may prove costly.

If he will not convey his interest by a deed to you, you will need a court order to quiet title.
