Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

What is an ejection? My grandmother had until today to move out of her home or the lender was going to file an ejection. What is this and does she have the 30 days an eviction notice has? Thank you!

Ejection is a term used in the UK and Scottland meaning the lender wants to request the right of repossession to property. Have not heard that term used here. Unless the lender owns the home, which is also rear, they would have to go thru the foreclosure process to gain possession of the home. If your grandmother owns the home and has a mortgage on it, the lender does not have the right to ask her to leave with out a court order granting the right of possession. They can ask but they do not have the right to tell her to leave. This is the brief response to your question and hope it helps but there are a lot of options and possible results that may come from your situation. I would recommend you contact a real estate attorney in your area to discuss further. Many offer a free initial consultation.
