Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Can my employer fire me if I default on my mortgage. The mortgage is owned by my employer and is an investment property. I can't afford to pay on it anymore? Consequences?

Yes, he can fire you unless you have some contract that would give you some special rights. I guess he does not like to think about paying you when you are not paying him. I suspect that he will soon foreclose on the property as well.
