Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Error on Quitclaim Deed Please Help

Hi,

I live in New York, and did a quitclaim deed to purchase property in Florida. No title search was done, only a quit claim deed typed. On the quit claim deed they left out the clause stating that the property is not the homestead of the Grantor and that it is vacant land. I am now contacted by someone who said I could pay a tax consequence for this. Also I am worried that this quit claim deed is not legal due to the clause left out that I mentioned. The person offered to buy it from me, for a fair price along with correcting this problem. If I dont do this is there a penalty taxwise and am is the quitclaim deed that I received valid, or does it still belong to the previous person I purchased it from. Thank you very much.

Without reading the deed and obtaining all the facts no one can give you an answer.
