Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Evicting My Children from my Home
Okay, I allowed my son under a verbal contract to pay 860.00 monthly to live in my house. Upon that he also allowed his sister, my daughter, her boyfriend and baby, his girlfriend, Tina, his neice Jerrica and her boyfriend. In the course of the last six months,..... the house is TRASHED, might as well condemn it. They have only paid rent on time once, and we have not recieved Novembers at all. We have served a three day notice, and he complied with the three day notice, however the other tenants will not,... my daughter and granddaughter, and all others have decided to trash the place further. The electricity has been out for the last 3.5 weeks and they have not lived there. It is considered abandoned right? The cops said that we could not do anything but follow through the rest of the eviction. But we did change the locks and it is now a ''civil'' matter. What do we need to do? Our house is in danger of foreclosure and is in danger of being condemned. Help please.

The cops are right. You have to complete the eviction.
