Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Eviction notice (selling property)

I want to sell my mobile home which I have been renting out. The rent is due monthly and is verbal agreement. When it was time to pay rent I told him he could keep the rent money if he could get out in a month or he could buy it. At first he was going to buy but later called and said you can't make me leave for 90 days. He also said " I tried to pay you but you refused my rent money"".I just wanted to sell my property so I could buy some on the water. There are no children living there and the power is in my name. What are my legal rights?

Re: Eviction notice (selling property)

YOur rights are governed by two statutes, one

concerning mobile homes (Chapter 723) and one concerning landlord

tenant (Chapter 83). There is no simple answer to your

question. I strongly suggest you make an appointment to

see an attorney who will go over these statutes and

explain your rights to you.
