Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

ex-boyfriend moves out of jointly owned house

My ex-boyfriend moved out of our jointly owned house about a year ago. He had agreed, when he moved, to pay his half of the mortgage and his half of all utilities. Now, he tells me he will no longer pay his half of the utlilites. Is there anything I can do, legally to keep him paying his half of the utilities? The house is up for sale, but so far, no buyers. Thank you.

Unless you have it in writing, since he is not using the utilities I see no responsibilty.
