Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

i need to know if i can get out of an

i need to know if i can get out of an ''exclusive right of sale agreement'' contract. I have someone who wants to rent our house for the right price, someone who has come down from Canada to work for our company.

In the agreement it says: Section 6: ''Seller will compensate Broker as follows(plus applicable sales tax):

d) Broker's fee is due in the following circumstances: 1) if any interest in the Property is transferred, whether by sale, lease, exchange, governmental action, bankruptcy or any other means of transfer, regardless of whether the buyer is secured by Broker, Seller or any other person.''

Does this mean I have to pay the realtor off? To what degree?

Thanks
