Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I'm going to take my ex-fiance to small claims court to regain possesion of my major appliances. I'm concerned he might say that he doesn't own the items anymore and I wanted to prove that they are, in fact, within his possession. I wanted to take pictures into his house from a neighbors yard to prove that he still has them. Am I breaking any laws if I get permission from the neighbor to go onto their property and take pictures into his house? If so, what suggestions do you have for me to prove the appliances are still in his possession? He doesn't have blinds on the sliding glass door in the kitchen where the refrigerator is and the window blinds where the washer and dryer are visable is never closed. I need to make my case solid prior to submitting for a court date. Thanks for your help.

A neighbor can't give you permission to go onto another person's property, but you will not be trespassing if you take the photos from the neighbor's place or are in a common area of an apartment complex, for instance. I think I would be concerned about proof of ownership or proof of payment. Good luck -
