Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My father in law purchased a house with his girlfriend. Both names are on the deed. What will happen to the house once he dies? Will it automatically go to the girlfriend or will his children obtain half of the home? There is no mention of right of surviorship in the mortgage paperwork or deed.

If no mention of right of survivorship, his one-half is part of his estate. Then, as David Slater states, they can fight it out.
