Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My father owned a home but he passed away a few years ago leaving the house to me. I recently sold the house and received a mortgage refund check but the check is made out to my father. What can I do? Thanks

The check should have been made out to the appointed Personal Representative of the estate, who would then convey the proceeds to you.
