Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My father passed away a few years ago. My brother & I are on my fathers' quit claim deed along with him. My question is, does the land automatically transfer to us? And how do I get his name off of the deed?

It depends on whether the deed is titled " jointly with right of survivorship". If not, his estate must go to probate to convey his share.
