Meyer Lansky held title to property in Florida, in a tenancy by the entirety with his wife. When he died, his death certificate was recorded in Miami Dade County. Al Capone held property in his wife's name, but the feds tried to put the IRS liens against him anyway. Whether or not either held title to property before they were convicted of anything, I do not know.

That said, there is no law prohibiting a felon from owning property in Florida.
