Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I have a fence that goes around my whole property and our property line ends on the other side of an electrical box. The electrical box is on the outside of our fence. My question is, is that small amount of property outside the fence belong to us or does that property get forfeited to the neighbor.

If your survey shows it is your property and that is consistent with the legal description in your deed, the property is yours.

The survey controls what property is yours. The legal description in your deed may also modify or better define that especially if it is listed in metes and bounds. The fact that there is property outside the fence does not change your actual property line. The fence does not define your property unless it is literally up against or on the property line itself.
