Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
filing a corrected deed in Florida
I purchased land in South Florida and the owner filed the deed with the wrong middle initital on the deed. The clerk of court said I can file a corrected deed but I would have to know what of deed to file and they could not advise me on that. Can you advise me on that process including the type of deed I would need to file?

You need to file the same type of deed as the orginal, just with the correct name. If you need assistance you should consult a Flordia attorney who practices real estate law. If you need help e-mail [email protected].
