Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

filing a corrected deed in Florida

I purchased land in South Florida and the owner filed the deed with the wrong middle initital on the deed. The clerk of court said I can file a corrected deed but I would have to know what of deed to file and they could not advise me on that. Can you advise me on that process including the type of deed I would need to file?
