Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
final summary judgement
Do I need to attend a telephonic hearing before the lawyer representing the plantiff the (Bank)
and the judge? (this is a 5 minute hearing) we are foreclosing on the home we are doing so uncontested we have not made a payment in 9 months and have already received a Final Summary thick packet back in March notorized and signed by everyone except us because there was no place for us to sign or requested to sign. I don't know the difference betweeen the two judgements or if they are one in the same?

Re: final summary judgement
You don't have to go if you don't intent to stop the foreclosure or mitigate damages. You should be aware you will be liable for the deficiency if the Bank can not sell for the judgment amount.
