If I find something in my used car is it mine to keep

If you now own the car, you bought it with whatever was in it. Why do you ask the question and what was it that was in the car. Have they tried to get it back from you or are you just asking? When you are asking a question on here it is best to give more facts than you did in this question. Just give a brief description.
