Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
Can a Florida condo board empower a committee to do such things as maintenance actions such as: rake leaves, clean outside of mailboxes, touch up paint low lying areas, gardening, etc? Our community is rather large and through the years keeping up with the preventive maintenance is an on-going serious issue. Sometimes *rarely) a board will have a "Community Cleaning Day" type thing. But it seems it would be more consistent to have committees that the board has delegated some power to. Sure . . . . I suspect there will not be a lot of volunteers to do regular maintence at the condo. Perhaps a business should be hired to maintain the property.
