Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Florida Land Contract

Does a Land Contract have to be registered to be considered a legal document in the state of Florida? I have one that has been signed by both parties, witnessed and signed and stamped by a Notary Public. Is that sufficiant to be considered legal in Florida?

Thank you

Re: Florida Land Contract

Yes it is legal. As a buyer I would record the contract so everyone has notice of it.
