In Florida, how long do I have to provide a requested payoff of a mortgage?

I don't believe there is a legal time requirement to provide a mortgage payoff. However, I'm not sure of the motive behind your question. Why wouldn't you want to timely provide a mortgage payoff? It would seem that if your mortgagor desires to pay off your mortgage, that can only be a good thing.

If you are in default, you will have to speak with your lender about this or have an attorney negotiate with them on your behalf. If you receive a foreclosure lawsuit, contact an attorney right away. Regards,
