If a man owns a home in Florida then becomes lagally married, doesn't his wife now equally own the home?

No, FL follows equitable distribution laws not common law. Additional paperwork would need to be filed to transfer property rights to you, if you and your husband would like to do this you can call for a further consultation. 8884811732
