if i was to be foreclosed on by a association for back fees do i have to vacate the property the day of the sale or do i get some time

You can stay for awhile. Before they forcibly remove you, they will post a 24 hour notice on your door to move out, or be moved out. The next day the Sheriff may come to escort you off the premises. I don't know how long that will be, but you have some time if they are just beginning the process. However, you should be prepared to move quickly.

Alternately, you may talk to the association, and ask them how much they may pay you to voluntarily leave the property and sign over a deed to them with a release to you. Sometimes it is quicker and cheaper for them to pay. Once they possess the property, they could recoup their money by re-renting the premises. or re-sell it.

The order of foreclosure will dictate when you must vacate. This may be before the date of sale.
