Foreclosure of Rental Property

My rental property (duplex) in currently being foreclosed on. My tenant wants to place their rent into an escrow account until I have worked out any mitigation with my lender. Is this permitted and what assurances/recourses do I have that they are paying in a regular, timely manner?

An agreement to pay the $ in escrow to an impartial trustee or the court can be arranged.
