foreclosure

I am renting house. Through a rental agency. Today i received foreclosure papers stating the owner of the property hasn't made a payment to his mortgage company since jan. 09. I make my payments on the 1st of every month to the rental agency What are my rights?

You owe rent as long as you live there.

You have the right to continue paying your rent each month. Your agreement is with the landlord, not his mortgage company. If the property is actually foreclosed and the property is sold before your lease is up then you will be notified whether you need to vacate or not.

There is a good chance that your lease will expire before the court is finished.
