Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I just found out that I was served a complaint and summons in a foreclosure action. These papers were signed by my boyfriend at his apartment where I do not reside. Is this legal.

The real questions is whether service has been perfected on you. As far as the court is concerned, they will probably accept the affidavit of service as filed. It will be up to you to contest the service.
