Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My friend received a forclosure "complaint" via a process server the other day. He received 2 copies; one to his name and one to his wife's name both with the same case number...does he need to file 2 responses -- one from each of them?

He can file a joint response. However, it is advisable to consult with a licensed Florida attorney to advise as to how to properly respond to the foreclosure complaint and to defend the case.

They can file one joint response. They should just indicate that the response is from both of them.
