Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Good Afternoon,

My boyfriend Shane and his mom live with His Uncle Chris. They are being evicted (they were served with papers last night). It all has to do with the fact that Shane called the called the cops twice on Chris last week (he has a drinking problem) and the second time the police came out the took Christ to jail. So now Chirs has been making is a nightmare for Shane and his mom. So now we are trying to figure out what rights Shane and his MOm have

Shane and his mom have the right to not live with Chris. They have the right to go and find their own place to live, and not let Chris come to their home. They have the right to get an injunction against Chris to keep him away from them. If they choose to continue to live with Chris, then they will be choosing to continue to live the nightmare he is making for them. The landlord has the right to not rent his home to crazy people who trash the place or commit a crime that results in police arrests.
