I am recently remarried. My ex husband and i bought the house i am in after our divorce. He agreed that he would quit claim deed the house over to me after i got my own financing and after i quit claim deeded our house to him.Which i did.Now that i am ready to close on this house he refuses to sign over his share.I have reimbursed him for his half of the repairs and for the mortgage he had paid along with insurance. He stated many times that the house was mine and i would be making the payments from now on.But now he refuses to sign.I have paid on my own since july 1,2002.What can i do...I in good faith signed over my part from our marriage and he has not signed as he said he would for the house i am in now......What can i do.What are my legals

Re: Good faith agreement

It appears that you failed to reduce the agreement to writing. That was your first mistake. Don't let your second mistake be a failure or delay in retaining an attorney experienced in family law and divorce litigation. Seek counsel and good luck.
