Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My grandfather owns a condo for 23 years and now is in a assisted living facility. I'm a month into living here and the board finally coming back to me and saying im not approved to stay here, they tell me it's because of my the criminal charges that ive had in my past but i have NO Convictions! I mean this is my dads dad! how can this be resolved? I use to live here as a teenager!
