Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

My grandfather signed the deed to his home to me recently after my grandmother passed. They were both on the deed to the property. I've since paid the taxes, had the home inspected, fixed the problems, and had the home insured. He has now changed his mind and wants to have the home placed back in his name. I told him I would deed the house back to him if he pays for everything I've done to the house. He doesn't want to do this and so he is seeking legal counsel. He states that he didn't understand what he was doing when he signed the home over. So now he's trying to take me to court over this. Is there anything legally that he can do? Should I be seeking an attorney as well?

He might be able to, but then probably he would have to pay you back anyhow. He is in a catch 22. You may want to consult an attorney depending upon what he does. Hope you kept all the receipts.
