Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida
My half brother lived in our mom's house and was taking care of heer finances while she was living in Florida and finally passed away in a nursing home. He still living in her house and refused to pay rent now that she is gone. Does the law allows him to stay there? How can we get him out of the house?

Who did she leave house to? Is there a will? Her estate must go to probate.

You need to establish who owns the house, and then you can figure out who has the rights to stay or to make others go.
It might include probate and/or other court proceeding to do this.
